Amy – Regina Christian School

My name is Amy Jacobson, and I am a student in Grade 12 at Regina Christian School. I have attended RCS since Kindergarten and am happy to be involved in many activities that my school offers. I am very thankful for RCS since I have been greatly impacted by all the teachers and staff who encourage me daily.

Some extracurricular activities that I enjoy at my school are volleyball, basketball, track, musical, choir, SLC, and various mission opportunities, including inner-city missions and a short-term mission trip to Guatemala. I enjoy spending time with friends, playing sports and serving God. I have been blessed to grow up in a Christian environment at home, church, and school where I have had many opportunities to grow in my relationship with God.

My future plans include getting my degree in elementary education at University of Regina. I have wanted to be a teacher from a very young age, and I trust that this is the path that God is taking me on for my life. A dream that I have had since my short-term mission’s trip to Guatemala in Grade 10 is to work as an English teacher in Central America, where I can serve got while doing something I love.

I am sad to leave RCS behind because of all the amazing memories and relationships I have made, but I am excited for the next chapter of my life.
