Jaelyn – Regina Christian School
My name is Jalyn Tonn, and I have lived in Regina for my entire life. I live with my parents and my younger sister. I’ve attended Regina Christian School for Grades 9 through 12, and I am very excited to be graduating with my peers. I am very involved with athletics. I have been so fortunate to have the opportunity to play basketball for most of my life and have grown to love the game. I have also had the privilege to play volleyball and to coach sports in various settings.
A major part of who I am and what I like to do has to do with being outside. Every chance I have to do something outdoors is a chance that I’m going to take. I love going camping, kayaking, fishing, biking, snowboarding and skating. I love having the opportunity to be in God’s creation and to experience new and exciting things.
I spend a lot of time serving at my church in various children’s programs and ministries. It is such a tremendous blessing to me to be able to connect with so many different kids. I have also had the opportunity to travel to many different countries, including, Mexico, Guatemala, South Africa and Zambia, giving me the chance to share God’s love and to experience very diverse cultures.
My future plans include studying kinesiology and education at University of Regina and to one day become a physical education teacher in a local high school.
