Harvest City Christian Academy

Yup, I’m a ‘Lifer’! Attending Harvest City Christian Academy since pre-kindergarten has certainly earned me the title and despite being a small school, the opportunities and advantages were many. Since freshman year, I’ve played senior volleyball and basketball, landed significant roles in our annual drama production, served on the Student Leadership Council (Co-president this final term), and had countless other experiences. Caring, qualified, invested teachers cheered me on every step of the way; what more could you ask for? I am very grateful for the consistent, stable f oundation HCCA provided me. Basketball is one of my greatest passions and personal successes in my life. It has taken me all over Canada, into the USA, and now to the University of Regina Cougars this fall. Recently, I coached my sister’s elementary basketball team. I had no idea that sharing my love of the game and connecting with young girls would be so fun and rewarding! In 2019, a back injury found me in physiotherapy. Not only did the treatment improve my issues, but the experience also sparked interest as a possible career path. I immediately felt drawn to the idea of helping people overcome physical challenges and that no two days would look the same. Starting this next chapter will have a lot of unknowns. Change is something I am ready to embrace, given my single-school history. I know this stage of life is coming to an end, but I cannot wait to see what opportunities are headed my way!
