Winston Knoll Collegiate

Hi! My name is Aurora, and I am currently attending Winston Knoll Collegiate. You can frequently find me reading, listening to Taylor Swift, or spending time with my family. In 2022, I read 273 books throughout 365 days. Reading has always been a form of escapism that allows me a moment away from the stressful aspects of life. One of my all-time favourite books has to be Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. This book has taught me so much about growing up, not giving up when life becomes difficult, and making an impact on the world no matter how little.

My involvement with the SRC is a big part of my high school experience. I have been a part of the Knoll SRC since grade 9. This past year I became the WKC Spirit Leader, and after being given this leadership role, I found the confidence to move forward with my future plans. In the Fall, I’ll be attending the University of Regina Pre-Med program to begin my Bachelor of Science degree in hopes of becoming a doctor. I want to make an impact on this world, but I’m not sure where that demand may lead me. I can’t wait to experience life outside of high school and see where the world takes me!
