Terrance Pelletier-Lerat
Scott Collegiate
My name is Terrance Pelletier-Lerat and I am the second youngest of four, all of my siblings attended Scott. I started at Scott in my sophomore year and since then my grades and attendance shot up, I used to go to Balfour and have a lot of hard times working in a big class especially with math, but now my grades are in the high 90s and they haven’t went any lower than 75% I am very proud of my marks and glad they have stayed high in my time at Scott. My time at Scott was a fun experience and I recommend it to anyone, there are a lot of friendly teachers and a welcoming community and environment.
I began my journey in trades when I started my construction pathway and finished all of my classes with Mr Kannenberg and our long lost pal Mr Temple. After, I went to Tascap, which is a work experience for credits. We got to learn all about on site experience and we helped build a 4plex condo in Eastview. All that experience and attending it everyday got me a rockstar position meaning I could go back there anytime and get some more training for a specific trade I’d want to get in.
After high school I plan on going into trade school (trades and skills) and get my hours and training to become a plumber and a journeyperson then maybe get a job with West Ridge construction. I hope to have my life together by the age of 25, maybe have a car and my own place by then. I feel honoured to finish high school here at Scott. It was a wonderful time and I hope I made a lot of people happy with my enthusiasm and energy.
