Tamara – Michael A. Riffel Catholic High School
Hello! I am Tamara, I am in grade twelve at Michael A. Riffel Catholic High school. My high school experience has been outstanding mainly because of the things that I’ve done. When I was in grade nine and ten I didn’t join anything. I always dreamed of being on SRC or in clubs but I chose not to join them and that was my biggest regret. Once I realized my inaction, I tried my hardest to join numerous clubs, sign up for volunteer work, and take part in other activities the school was engaged in. As a result I became Vice president of a student led injustice group, joined God Squad, SRC Liturgical Director, president of Beauty and the Bath (entrepreneurship class venture), was the manager for one of my best friend’s SRC campaigns, was a Spend-A-Day leader, in the drama productions, and made honour roll 2013-2015.
I’ve just recently realized that I would like to be a teacher in the future. I think this suits me. I want to be the person who motivates other people who have amazing potential. I would encourage them to go out and try activities. I say this because in grade eleven I joined Improv for the first time. Improv was always something I was told I would be amazing at. Improv has changed my life and made me the person I am today.
