Stephen W.
F.W. Johnson Collegiate
My name is Stephen Woit and over the past four years, I have attended F.W. Johnson Collegiate where I
played on the football team for four years, basketball team for a year and the hockey team for two.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing football, working out and being with friends. Some of my hobbies
consist of hunting, spending time at Katepwa Lake with my friends and family, and golfing.
I truly think that Johnson has shaped me into the person I am today, teaching me life lessons and skills I
will use for the rest of my life. During my time at Johnson, I took pride in being a leader in the school and
getting to guide Grade 9s though the first few weeks of high school. I would not be where I am today
without the support of my family and teachers at Johnson.
I have recently signed with the University of Manitoba Bisons football team to play for the next five
years and continue my education. I plan on taking general classes and getting a taste of university and
finding out my interests. I hope to one day be a police officer or a refrigeration and air conditioning
technician.
Graduation is something I look extremely forward to, but I am also looking back on the last four years
and thinking about what a great time I have had, thankful for the people I have met. I am looking
forward to a bright future!
