Paraa S.

Sheldon-Williams Collegiate

My name is Paraa Soni, and I am in my senior year at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate.
In 2015, I moved from India to Regina, but my passion for studies and my desire for involvement in
community have always been a large part of who I am. I always keep doing something or the other. I
rarely have free time.
Over the past four years at Sheldon, I have been a member of our school’s handball team, the book club
as well as concert choir. I have been the Treasurer of the Student Leadership Council. I was also a part of
Advanced Placement math class. With all of this involvement, I kept myself busy and also worked hard
to receive honour roll. All of these activities allowed me to become more confident in myself.
I work one job as a customer service personnel/supervisor at Real Canadian Superstore (Golden Mile).
When I am not busy with studies and work, I like to spend my time with my two little cousins or listening
to music and relaxing.
After high school, I plan to go to university to study medicine and also travel to many places around the
world.
