Miranda – Harvest City Christian Academy

I’m 17 years old and attend Harvest City Christian Academy. I have been attending Harvest City since my Grade 10 year after moving into the city from Southey, Saskatchewan. I love movies, art, singing, horses, volleyball, and embracing my country personality.

Ever since I started at Harvest City, it’s been an amazing journey and has turned into a second home for me. I have been blessed with great friends, teachers, coaches and had a huge growth in my faith and in myself.

Since moving into the city, I’ve had great opportunity to pursue volleyball. My first year of my club volleyball, I played as an overage player for the RVC 15U Gold team, where I had the pleasure to be coached by my principal, John Harvey, from my former school and also coached by my teacher and volleyball coach, Mark Husband, from my new school. Currently, I’m playing as an overage player for the 17U Cougars’ Volleyball Club team.

After high school, I hope to go into a kinesiology program, either majoring in sports psychology, sports and recreation, or physiotherapy. My dream is to one day represent Canada and play for the women’s volleyball national team.
