Scott Collegiate

Hi my name is Mcxen Nuevo, a lot of you, most of you, know me as Max. My hobbies are drawing, playing video games, and I’m on the side of Playstation. I also play volleyball and I CAN play basketball if I need to. I’ve played setter for Scott for all three years that I could, three because covid shut down the league in my third year. My number was 9, but in this picture I had to settle for 8 because we couldn’t find my number. I enjoy both Marvel and DC, but cinematic and movie wise, I prefer Marvel. My favorite character is black Panther, but for comics and characters, I like DC more, my favorite character being Jason Todd AKA Red Hood.

Now for my origin story, I was born at a very young age, in Dingalan Aurora in the Philippines, but raised in Mariveles Bataan. For anyone who doesn’t understand the huge difference in environment, let’s just say, I was a mountain monkey raised on the coast. Funnily enough, I didn’t learn how to swim until I was 13 years old. My family and I moved here when I was 5, and somehow we ended up living in North Central and I ended up attending Scott Collegiate. I have a brother who attends at Scott, his name is Marc, and I have two sisters, Alexa and Reggiena, who probably will go to Scott too.

My pathway is the construction pathway. For anyone who wants to take this pathway, I suggest taking TASCAP, Trades And Skill Carpentry Apprenticeship Program. It was a great experience and it prepares you for the workforce. Not only that, they have a lot of benefits after you finish. They certify you in many things like, SCOT training, Fall arrest training and specialized tools training. There’s also the 12 to trades program, once you graduate, you can apply for it and they’ll send you off to work, making that step into adulthood so much more easier.
