F.W. Johnson Collegiate

My name is Lauren Schoenhofen and I am a grade twelve student at F.W. Johnson Collegiate. To say I am busy would be an understatement!

My true passion lies in the ringette community. I have completely immersed myself in the sport and spend upwards of 95 hours a month participating in my various roles within the sport. Not only do I play for my local association’s U19 AA team, but I am also a member of the U20 AAA Canada Winter Games Team Saskatchewan, I am an official, and I instruct at a learn-to-play camp. Ringette is where I have had the biggest impact and has undoubtedly shaped me into the person I am today. I have been able to travel the country and create life-long friendships.

While attending Johnson, I have played for the Wildcats’ volleyball and basketball teams every  year, and received MVP in both sports for the grade 11 seasons. I participated on the flag football team these last two years, as well! Additionally, I play clarinet for the concert band program and have twice been invited to the Saskatchewan honour band program. I am able to balance all my extracurriculars with the demands of both AP English and math while maintaining a 95%+ average in school thanks to the support of my family, friends, and teachers. I have only positive things to say about my experiences at Johnson and feel so lucky to have attended a school with such a tight-knit community and supportive staff.
