Kaity – Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School
Hi! My name is Kaitlyn (Kaity). I am president of the SRC at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School. My high school years have included many activities that revolve around teams, arts, and sports. I am involved with the SRC, liturgical team, and improv team, and have competed in the Canadian Improv Games with Miller’s improv team since grade nine. I have been an actor, singer, dancer, and stage manager in our fall musical productions. I wrote and acted in the Saskatchewan One Acts Festival, and was involved in choir and vocal jazz as a singer and an accompanist on the piano. I am a member of the girls’ flag football team. I have a part time job working at GoodLife Fitness as a motivator. I completed twelve years of both dance and piano lessons, and have completed my grade nine RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) examinations. I was also involved with the Archdiocese of Regina Youth Leadership Team.
I make sure to spend time with my friends and family, as they are so supportive of all of my decisions. Academics are very important to me, and I enjoy taking challenging classes such as AP calculus and AP psychology. I have been accepted into the University of Regina Faculty of Kinesiology with a $3,000 academic entrance scholarship. I plan on using this to pursue a career in Kinesiology such as athletic or physical therapy, but I am willing to go wherever the future takes me!
