Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School
My name is Jaclynn Hunchak and I am very proud to say I am a Miller Marauder. Attending Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School has definitely been the best decision I have ever made. During my high school years, through an abundance of opportunities, I have made new friends and learned from each experience.
Through classes and extra curricular involvement, I have had numerous chances to explore new ideas and activities. From waking up at 7:00 am to attend early bird choir to serving on the SRC for two years, each moment has been valuable. In grade 9, I was hesitant to become involved. Who would have thought by grade twelve I would be running a campaign for a position on the SRC executive? In my final grade 12 year, I am happy to serve as one of the leaders on our SRC, and have worked to organize all types of events for my peers. Getting involved in high school activities has truly helped me for the next phase of my life.
I am also busy outside of school. My community involvement includes playing ringette. I have been playing ringette for the past seven years and have enjoyed every minute. From the very first minute I stepped on the ice I was instantly in love with the game.
I have been accepted into the University of Regina Bachelor of Education Program. I look forward to working as a teacher and making a school the type of positive learning environment I experienced. I would like to teach English at the high school level and obtain my certificate to teach high school special needs students. I will continue to work hard toward being a happy and contributing member of my community.
