Isaac Simon

My name is Isaac Simon, and I am a grade 12 student at Harvest City Christian Academy. If you know me then you would probably know that I have loved sports from a very young age, and my favourite one is basketball. Basketball has always been one of my biggest passions and has opened the door for so many amazing opportunities and friendships in my life. Some of my accomplishments include being named MVP for an NPH showcase, playing on multiple travel teams, earning an invitation to try out for team Canada and most recently winning a 5a city and provincial championship with Harvest City. The game has taught me so much about hard work and character, and I believe athletics and basketball have played a huge role in shaping the person I am today. Basketball has also given me the opportunity to give back and help younger kids who are just beginning their journeys in sports and life.

I am very grateful for harvest city, as I have spent my entire schooling experience there, and have developed lifelong bonds and relationships. I am also SLC president at my school. I have been pushed to do my best on and off the court as well making sure above all that I continue to put God first in my life.

I’m not sure exactly what my future holds as far as where I will be attending university, but I know my next chapter is going to be special.
