Heidi Bews

Hi my name is Heidi Bews. I’ve gone to Lumsden Elementary and High School for all of my schooling. I have become a leader in my community, helping to coach multiple junior girls basketball teams and even painting court lines on our local outdoor basketball courts. In school, I have strived to maintain excellent grades in all my classes and I have been a part of our SRC, in which I am head of treasury and posters. I have participated in many sports in and out of school, mainly basketball, volleyball and softball. Team sports have taught me so much about the value of hard work and integrity which I will carry with me through the rest of my life. One of my other many passions is animals, more specifically pigs. For as long as I can remember, I have had an obsession with pigs, and 8 years ago I became a pig mom to my piggy Pumba. She has been a huge part of my life and has taught me how to be responsible for another living creature, other than myself. She truly has become my best friend and I could never imagine my life without her.
