Hannah K.

Thom Collegiate

My name is Hannah Klassen, and I am part of the graduating class of 2019 at Thom Collegiate.
Throughout my high school career, I have been involved in many extracurricular programs. I have
participated in choir, vocal jazz, band, basketball, curling, volleyball, rugby, badminton and our Student
Representative Council (SRC). This year, I was elected SRC President. To be considered a leader amongst
such a diverse school population is certainly an honour and a privilege. I am proud to be a Trojan and
honoured to lead the Student Representative Council during the 2018-2019 school year.
I have been part of the French Immersion program at Thom for the past four years and will be
graduating with Bilingual Honours. My experiences in high school have been very positive and I have
loved contributing to my school community. When I reflect on my time in high school, I have so many
good memories, and I am very grateful for the amazing relationships that I have built with my
classmates and teachers.
I am very honoured to be a representative of Thom Collegiate, and I am excited to continue my
education at the University of Regina this fall in the Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Kinesiology Joint
Degree program. My plans for the future are to potentially pursue physical therapy as a career, but I am
also open to other possibilities and am excited to see what opportunities present themselves.
