Hi my name is Claire Ledingham and I am a proud Luther Lion! I have been fortunate enough to
attend Luther for all four years of my high school career. Luther taught me how to balance
academics, extracurriculars, and family and friends.
I have always been very active and had the opportunity to play on various sports teams at Luther.
I played basketball, badminton, ultimate frisbee, soccer, and track and field. In addition to my
commitment to Luther sports, I also train with Excel track club. I enjoy being involved in so
many sports because it challenges me to continue to improve and better myself. I have also been
involved in the Luther musical as the stage manager. Working backstage and being apart of all
the behind the scenes preparation was very rewarding for me. One of my biggest passions is
animals! I started riding horses when I was six years old and fell in love. I love seeing the bond
and trust that develop between a horse and their rider.
I plan on continuing to be involved with animals at the University of Saskatchewan in Animal
Bio-Science next year, and eventually pursue a career as a veterinarian. I am extremely grateful
for the opportunities that I have been given and all the support I’ve gotten from my parents,
coaches and teammates, thank you!
