Chris R.
Martin Collegiate
My name is Chris Reimer, and I have been a proud Martin Monarch for the past four years. I was born
and raised here in Regina and plan on spending at least four more years here as I go to the University of
Regina for accounting. I have always enjoyed math and numbers and because of this, I feel like
accounting is a good choice for me.
I am an athlete and love to play sports. Throughout my high school career, I have played on the soccer,
basketball, archery, badminton and track teams, and was named Athlete of the Year last year. I also
strive for academic success and have been on honour roll every year, including winning the silver medal
in academics in Grade 11.
Outside of school, I play and referee community soccer and volunteer with the kids’ clubs at my church. I
also love to watch sports such as hockey, basketball and soccer, but the Saskatchewan Roughriders are
my favourite team, and I try to go to as many football games as I can each season. Finally, I enjoy
travelling and have been very lucky to have an awesome family who have taken me many places across
Canada. My favourite trips have been to Radium Hot Springs in BC and the Maritimes, as both have such
beautiful landscapes, and I love being outside to admire nature.
