My name is Camryn Herauf and I am a grade 12 student at Michael A. Riffel Catholic High
School. The past four years have flown by as I have been involved in extracurricular activities since day
one of grade 9, literally. High school volleyball is where I developed my love for the sport and I have
been a part of the school team for all four years. I am also a member of our Best Buddies and That’s
Possible Theatre programs, where I get the absolute pleasure of hanging out with the wonderful kids in
our FIAEP classroom. Additionally, I have been a part of our Student Representative Council for the past
3 years. Currently I am a member of the spirit team and previously I was a junior and athletics team
member.
On the academic side, I have managed to maintain a great distinction average for my first 3
years of high school, and hoping to finish my grade 12 year the same way. I have also taken part in the
advanced placement programs for math, English, and psychology. Next year, I am planning to begin a
kinesiology degree with hopes of attending a naturopathic medicine school in the future. Lastly, when I
am not busy at Riffel, I spend most of my time on the volleyball court, at the pool, lifeguarding and
teaching swimming lessons, and spending time with family, friends, and my pup.
