Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School
My name is Brooke Shumay and I am thrilled that I have had the opportunity to learn and develop my leadership skills over the last four years at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School. I have been involved in many of my favorite activities, some of which include volleyball, the dance team, basketball, and flag football. This year I was also fortunate enough to serve as President of the SRC. The role of president of the SRC has allowed me to help organize spirit days, assemblies and other student-led activities. I have made so many memories that I will cherish forever. Joining teams and clubs and participating in different activities gave me the chance to expand my horizons, meet new people and develop new skills. At first, I was very hesitant to get involved, but by putting myself out there, I made many new friends and had great experiences. It is important to make the most out of everything and do what you love. I have always been very interested in sciences, specifically chemistry, Next year I will be majoring in chemistry at the University of Regina. After I finish with chemistry, I would like obtain my education degree so that I can become a teacher. I love to interact with people, and I have a desire to positively affect people’s lives. I am excited for my future and am eager to see what it holds. I will miss my high school years, as it was a huge part of my life, but I know I have a plan and I cannot wait to see it unfold
