Bree Johnson

My name is Bree Johnson and I’m currently a senior at Michael A. Riffel High School. Throughout my time as a Riffel Royal, I’ve grown so much!

At the beginning of grade nine, I decided to join the soccer team. I can surely say that this decision was a good one! I’ve played for the soccer team all four years (well, three. Thanks, COVID) and have loved every minute of it. Starting the beginning of each school year, surrounded by a group of amazing young women whilst getting active and getting the chance to be a leader is truly one of the best experiences I’ve had during high school.

I’ve also been able to explore my love for art, film, and photography through Visual Art and Communication Media, both of which are classes I’ve taken at Riffel. I love combining my various passions and interests, so creative electives are perfect for me!

Academically, I’ve worked extremely hard and have been achieved honour roll with distinction each year of high school.

During the summer, I spend my days working (and sampling ice cream) at the Milky Way!

In the fall, I’ll be attending the University of Regina, Faculty of Arts with a major in Journalism. I’m so excited to begin this new chapter of my life, and to see what it may have in store for me!
