Arhameen A.

Thom Collegiate

My name is Arhameen Ahmed, and I moved to Canada from Pakistan when I was 8, so about 10 years ago. These past years, I’ve worked very hard and I am proud of how far I have come.

I have been accepted into the Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing program at the University of Regina with an average of 98%. My career goal is to become a Cardiologist so I can take away the pain and suffering of others by giving them medical treatment and healthcare. I want to be a continuous source of happiness for many people and their families, I want to give people hope and joy.

I am an athlete for the Basketball and Badminton teams at Thom Collegiate. I am an active member of Thom’s SLC because I like to contribute in my school’s extra circular activities.

I recognize the value of giving back to my community. I like to help and support people as much as I can because I think it is very important to take care of people around you. I love helping out in my community with anything, I volunteer at nursing homes, volunteer to referee basketball games, I like to give back to my community.

My desire is to become a Cardiologist and serve the people in Regina. I am very grateful for all of the opportunities. I am thankful for everyone who has supported me.
