Anna – Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic High School

My name is Anna.  I am graduating from the French Immersion program at Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic High School.  Becoming bilingual is an accomplishment of which I am proud.  While in school, I have received numerous awards for my grades and have been awarded High Academic Honour Roll all 4 years at LeBoldus.  I have served as Marketing Director and Vice President on the Student Representative Council.  Music has been a treasured part of my life both in and outside of school.  I began to take piano lessons at age 2 and recently achieved my Grade 8.  I also taught myself how to play acoustic guitar and I love to sing.  I have been involved in Choral and Vocal jazz for 4 years and have received awards for having the highest mark in each class.

As well, I love to dance.  I have danced on LeBoldus’ team for 4 years and with Poltava Ukrainian Ensemble for 15 years.  I served as a Youth Ambassador for the Poltava pavilion during Mosaic.  My parents have raised me to be well-rounded, therefore my interests in sports and recreation go beyond music.  I played hockey, rugby and participated in Olympic weightlifting at my CrossFit gym.  I have been accepted into the Excellence Program at the Hill School of Business at the University of Regina.  After 2 years of university study, I will apply to Law at the University of Saskatchewan.

I am truly honoured to be a participant of the Twelfth Year Program and to be a member of such an elite and accomplished group of students.
