Sheldon-Williams Collegiate
Sheldon-Williams Collegiate has been my home for the past four memorable years. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my time anywhere else! I’m so very proud to be a Spartan.
While attending Sheldon, I participated heavily in sports, arts and clubs. Throughout the years, I was a part of numerous teams: hockey, curling, football, soccer, handball, cross-country and track and field. I was the captain of both the hockey and soccer teams during my senior year. I was awarded the leadership award in multiple sports during my time at Sheldon. I’ve enjoyed many opportunities to lead others while striving to be a positive role model. These experiences have helped me develop into a leader in many aspects of my life.
I took an interest in the arts and participated in both the concert band all four of my high school years and the concert choir from Grades 9 to 11. In my senior year, I was elected to be the vice-president of the Student Leadership Council.
While balancing my school commitments, I played Midget ‘A’ hockey and flag football, refereed hockey, achieved honour roll status all four years and maintained an average of 90% or higher. Even with this heavy workload, I challenged myself further by taking the AP English course in Grades 11 and 12.
This fall, I will be enrolling in Education at the University of Regina. I plan to become an elementary school teacher while also continuing to participate in my many activities in the future.
