Jonah D.

Greenall High School

My name is Jonah, and these four years at Greenall High School have been quite the roller coaster ride!

Throughout my high school journey, I have participated in various athletics, clubs, and arts, but nothing has stuck with me as much as the drama program. Since the ninth grade, I have been a cast member in musicals and one-act plays, and I am currently starring as the lead in one of our school’s shows! Looking back, I’ve realized how much drama has shaped me into the individual I am today, and I don’t think I would be quite as confident had I not joined it at the start of high school.

All of my extracurriculars, as well as classes I have found enjoyable such as Law 30 and AP Psychology have helped me discover what I am genuinely passionate about. I’ve learned that I love helping people, and I hope to reflect this in my future field of work, whether through performance, law, healthcare, or laughter! My Metis heritage is also something I hold very close to my heart, and I hope to continue to learn and pass on knowledge regarding this integral part of my identity.

I am still not entirely sure what awaits me in the future. Still, as of now, I have been accepted to the faculty of arts at the University of British Columbia, the University of Calgary, and the University of Regina, and I cannot wait to encounter my next adventure!
