My name is Jon. I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on December 12, 1996. I am an 18-year-old only child, and I strongly feel that that has played a large part in shaping who I am today. I grew up playing sports, never excelling at any, but always trying my best (not actually always). I also love to fish, and I spend a good chunk of my winter snowmobiling wherever I can.
As a student, I can honestly say I love Balfour. It is a tremendous school full of awesome teachers and even better students. It wasn’t until my Grade 10 year at Balfour that I started to get involved in school sports and activities. I joined our absolutely awful hockey team, played football for a full season for the first time in my life, and even played badminton for a few days. Once Grade 11 hit, I continued to play sports through the school and joined our SRC, but, no, I never did go back to badminton.
I would love to spend a part of my life travelling the world (who wouldn’t?), and despite my love for the snow, I have to admit I would take sandy shores and warm air over Saskatchewan winters any day.
