Sheldon-Williams Collegiate

My name is Aisha Messaros, I am a current senior at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate. Throughout high school, I have grown to learn so much about myself with the help of teachers and peers.

While attending Sheldon, my love for the outdoors was sparked by partaking in the outdoor club. This community was extremely heartwarming, generous, and inclusive. Although I am saddened that we were unable to experience outdoor club this year, I cherish the memories made with my peers. Such as winter camping trips and canteens at film festivals. Outside of school, I danced from age three to sixteen. I started taking classes at Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan, then transitioning to Class Act Performing Arts Studios for the rest of my training. I trained for all types of dance ranging from classical ballet/pointe, to tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. I had a powerful infatuation for the music and the movements themselves, and I am so grateful for the connections made with my Class Act family.

My academics are an important aspect of my life; I have been on honour roll every year, with an average above 95%. I navigate through my studies to the best of my abilities while being able to understand the content that is being taught.

After graduating high school, I plan to study in the faculty of science and later dentistry. Although I am unsure as to where I will be attending, I hope to continue exploring the outdoors and have the opportunity to travel the world.
